Chad's girlfriend Ang and I took Ethan and Fisher to meet up with everyone. Here we are in the dark waiting for Fisher's dad to come running by. Ang and I had the kids make some fun posters.
Here Jared is ready to take that baton from Chad and start is last leg of the race.
Jared's parents met up with us at the begining of Jared's leg and brought the two babies Madelyn and Jenner. Here's Miss Madelyn and Grandma.
We stop part way through Jared's leg of the race to give him a drink and cheer him on.
Jared running towards the end of his leg and getting ready to hand off to Rachael
I tired to get Jared handing the baton off to Rachael but I missed it. Here Rachael is getting started on her last leg.
Jared and Chad, race running buddies :)
Rachael running in at the end of her leg and getting ready to hand the baton over.
So the way this race works is that you have 12 runners that are split into two different vans. Each van takes 6 legs at a time and then the next van takes the next 6. So when Rachael finished her leg it was time for the other van of racers to run. Here is a picture of the van of runners that Jared, Chad, Rachael and Chad were in.
We meet up with the other van at the finish line. Here is the whole group of racers.

Part of Red Rock Relay tradition is put a mark on your leg for each leg of the race that you have finished. I wanted to get a picture of everyone's leg but I forgot. But I did get one of Jared's
They all did such a great job and far better then anything I could do. I'm always proud of Jared for all of his hard work and great accomplishments like this.
